Just had a few DMs with the lovely Adriana Lukas about which beauty products/regimes we swear by, and those we are interested in trying. I sent her links to products I've written about previously here, the Kiehl's Tinted Moisturizer my daughter and I use daily, she such a fan she once said, "I believe I am going to use this for the rest of my life," and I believe her, and will, as well. I am also a huge fan of their Line Reducing Concentrate, which sounds powerful and is but which goes on in a slip and feels like baby powder. I think both together have something with people regularly thinking I am ten years younger than I am.
I also have two new must-haves, both for hair: Terax, which I have also written about and which, though a bit spendy, has gone from a splurge to a must, and Frederic Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream, which might as easily be called Lustrousness in a Tube. Its brilliance is also in its scent, big and green and floral.
I'd love to know which products can you absolutely cannot do without, and what do they do.

Kiehls Abyssine moisturizer and eye cream-not greasy, no offensive fragrances, moisturizes and somewhat minimizes small lines.
Kiehls Silk Straightening Cream- tames the frizz of blowdrying.
A new one I got in NYC-ReVersital 3in1 microdermabrasion stick. It cleans, it moisturizers, it minimizes pores and lines. It's the most expensive beauty product I've ever bought.
Lastly, a tinted moisturizer. I got converted by a salesperson in NYC(I hate foundation). I'll try Kiehls version next(obviously I love Kiehls)

So true, tinted moisturizer was made for my active lifestyle. I skin tends to be on the dryside especially in the winter. When I am not promoting L'Bel Paris I am usually snowbound in Vermont. So my carry-along is the Préventive moisturizing treatment (with spf 15). I have a small tube I can carry in my jacket so it is easily applied if I am sitting in the chair too long!

Loved your blog. Readers might also be interested in another article I found, about beauty and dry eyes. It can be found here at this website:

Just can't live without foundation from Armani cosmetics (hydra glow) and gloss like Kiehl's or clarins or Bare minerals...
For my poor poor hair...can't do anything without oleo-relax from Keratase and i'm just crazy about topicreme "glitter" for all the body! (and lots and lots more :-)....!)

LOVE Fekkai's Glossing collection as well as Julisis' Sun Emulsion (broad-spectrum protection, no white, filmy residue).

Laura Mercier Primer. The best, most nourishing product I've ever used.

I love Fekkai, and get it at http://www.thebeautyone.com because of the free shipping if you spend $50. Makes it worth it.

I came upon your blog and I'm so excited! I am an actress living in New York and I have being doing a little beauty blog purely on the skin products I regularly use and swear by...
I can tell you the one I love for Spring/Summer sun protection 2010 - Eminence Organic Sun Defense Water Resistant SPF 30. It's an all in one powder SPF, it's waterproof, translucent or other tints/colors which can work as a bronzer, or light coverage. It is an anti-inflammatory, vitamins A & E. It can fit in your purse and can be layered over your make-up all day without caking. Loves it!
I thought I'd give you my blogspot (but I completely understand if you don't wish to post, I'm just excited I found you and wanted to share!) I love that I discovered your site!
