I've used and loved this mascara since I was a teenager, but for some reason I always try other mascaras and think I'm going to find better. It's never really worked out that way.
Recently, I went back to Définicils again after a very underwhelming trial of Dior DiorShow (in fairness, I think my expectations were unrealistic). Happily, I discovered another reason to love this product: It washes off almost completely without any eye makeup remover being used. (I use Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin morning and night.) After washing my face, one cotton ball and a bit of my trusty Target Eye Makeup Remover will get rid of every trace of mascara. With all other mascaras I've used, it takes at least two soaked cotton balls. Doesn't seem like a big difference, but little things like this matter to me.

Hee - I also flirt with other mascaras (currently using a Boot No. 7 one that came free with a magazine), but I always return to Lancome as well! I particularly love their multi-pack bargains in Duty Free.

I know what you mean about the little things. All my mascaras and eye make up always take a lot of cotton balls to completely remove.

I have the same problem! I can't find one I like better than Definicils, but I still am underwhelmed by its performance :(

I love the Lancome mascaras too...! So much that I use the brush Lancome Hypnose in my Loreal mascara when I am running low on funds ;)

Inger, my understanding is that most of what makes mascara work is the brush. (Though obviously you want a formula that doesn't irritate your eyes or, like Maybelline Great Lash, run like hell.)

This is is one of my favorites too, but with funds being low, I've just been tinting my lashes at home and calling it good.
